The ACT Late Model tour features some of the best late model drivers in the country. They travel to short tracks throughout New England and have a very big following. The "home track" for them is Thunder Road Speedbowl in Barre VT which is a quarter mile paved asphalt track known for its high banking in the turns. For a small track, the excitement is very big. Not many events here go with many empty seats in the place!

Airborne Speedway is a half mile paved asphalt track located in Plattsburgh NY. It has been in operation for just over fifty years and is an excellent facility with much history. In fact, in the 1950s there was a NASCAR Winston Cup race ran here in which Lee Petty won! Check it out if you are ever in the area!
